Supporting Charities and Good Causes
We believe that running a successful business also gives us an opportunity to contribute, in our own modest way, to organisations doing important work.
At CowGoMoo Web Solutions Ltd, our work spans web consultancy, online services and the websites and communities we operate ourselves.
Over the years, we have supported a range of charities and humanitarian organisations through both one-off donations and ongoing contributions. These have included organisations providing emergency humanitarian assistance, healthcare, support for children and families, services for people living with disabilities, and care for people facing serious illness.
We are a small independent company, so the amount we are able to give varies according to our circumstances and the needs of the business. We do not have the charitable budgets of large corporations, nor do we pretend to.
What we can do is contribute when circumstances allow.
We believe charitable giving does not need to involve enormous sums to be worthwhile. Contributions from individuals and businesses of all sizes collectively help charities continue providing services, care and assistance to the people who need them.
Below are some of the organisations we have been pleased to support.
British Red Cross
The British Red Cross provides humanitarian assistance to people facing emergencies and crises in the UK and around the world.
Its work includes responding to emergencies and natural disasters, supporting people affected by conflict and displacement, assisting refugees and people seeking asylum, and helping people affected by trafficking and modern slavery.
As part of the wider International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it also contributes to humanitarian responses around the world.
We have supported the British Red Cross because practical assistance at a time of crisis can make an enormous difference to people whose lives have suddenly been affected by disaster, displacement or conflict.

UNRWA
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) provides humanitarian assistance and essential services to Palestine refugees.
Its work includes healthcare, education, emergency assistance and social support, including services for children, families experiencing poverty, older people and people with disabilities.
UNRWA operates across Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria and provides additional assistance during humanitarian emergencies.
Our support for UNRWA reflects a straightforward humanitarian principle: civilians affected by conflict should have access to necessities such as food, healthcare, education and shelter regardless of their background or circumstances.

Operation Smile UK
Operation Smile provides care for children and adults born with cleft conditions in parts of the world where access to specialist treatment may otherwise be limited.
Its work can include surgery as well as dentistry, orthodontics, nutrition, speech therapy and psychosocial support depending on the needs of each patient.
For children and families who might otherwise be unable to access or afford specialist care, that treatment can have a lasting impact on health, development and quality of life.
We have been pleased to support Operation Smile because access to treatable medical care should not depend solely upon where somebody is born or their family's financial circumstances.

Pace
Pace works with children and young people with neurodisabilities and provides support to their families.
The organisation has particular experience supporting children with cerebral palsy while also working with children who have a range of neurological, developmental and additional needs.
Through specialist education, therapy and family support, Pace helps children develop their abilities, increase their independence and work towards their individual potential.
We recognise the difference that appropriate education, therapy and support can make both to children living with disabilities and to their families, which is why we have been pleased to support Pace.
Marie Curie
Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with terminal illnesses and for their families and loved ones.
Its nurses and healthcare professionals provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care through hospices and within people's own homes. The charity also provides information and emotional support to people navigating serious and terminal illness.
In addition to providing direct care, Marie Curie supports research and campaigns for improvements to palliative and end-of-life care.
We have supported Marie Curie because compassion, dignity and appropriate care matter enormously when somebody is approaching the end of their life.
War Child UK
War Child works to support children and families affected by war and armed conflict.
Its programmes are designed to help protect children, support their education and wellbeing, provide emergency assistance and help families and communities regain stability following the disruption caused by conflict.
Working alongside local organisations and communities, War Child provides support that can include essential supplies, education, safe spaces and mental health and wellbeing services.
Children do not choose the conflicts in which they find themselves, yet they can experience some of their most serious consequences. We have supported War Child because children affected by conflict deserve safety, care, education and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Our Approach to Giving
There are countless organisations doing worthwhile work, and no individual or business can support every cause.
As a small company, we have to be realistic about what we can contribute. Some years and circumstances allow us to do more than others, and our support may take the form of either individual donations or regular contributions.
Our approach is simply to help where we reasonably can.
Whether that means contributing towards medical treatment for a child, supporting people living with disabilities, helping provide compassionate end-of-life care or assisting families affected by humanitarian emergencies, we believe doing something is preferable to doing nothing.
We are grateful to have been able to play a small part in supporting the organisations listed on this page.
Made Possible by Our Customers, Clients and Communities
CowGoMoo Web Solutions Ltd provides a broad range of web-related services, including website design and development, web consultancy, hosting, email services, search engine optimisation and other online services.
Alongside work for clients, we also own and operate our own websites, online communities and social networking platforms.
The income generated across these different areas helps us maintain and develop our services, support the communities we operate and, when circumstances allow, make charitable donations to causes we care about.
One example is ClubCrossDressing.com, a trading name used by CowGoMoo Web Solutions Ltd. Memberships and upgrades purchased by members help support the operation and continued development of that community and form part of the wider revenue generated by the company.
Our charitable giving is therefore made possible not only by the work we do as a web consultancy and service provider, but also by the customers, clients, members and communities who support the businesses and platforms we operate.
We are grateful to everyone who contributes to that, whether by using our professional services, hosting with us, working with us on a web project, purchasing one of our services, or supporting one of our own online communities.
This page highlights some of the charities and humanitarian organisations we have supported over the years. It is not necessarily a complete record of every donation made by the company, and it may be updated from time to time as we support additional causes.
Please note: Charitable donations referred to on this page are made independently by CowGoMoo Web Solutions Ltd or through businesses, websites and trading names operated by the company. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the inclusion of an organisation on this page does not indicate or imply any sponsorship, partnership, affiliation, approval or endorsement by that organisation. Organisation names are used solely to identify charities and humanitarian organisations we have supported and to help visitors learn more about their work.
